This, my companions, is about at least somewhat invigorating a sweltering summer evening! A super cold slushy made with limes, mint, a pinch of nectar and parts and loads of ice. So easily simple that you truly have no reason not to make one.
These Mint + Lime Slushies are an invigorating evening drink made with limes, mint, a bit of nectar, shining water and parcels and loads of ice. A fit as a fiddle summer drink for the whole family (and a couple of recommendations for drinking it up for the grown-ups!).
Gracious and I absolutely give you authorization to include a little gin or vodka into your bit of the slushy. Boozy summer beverages are pretty much all I consider during the long sweltering evenings when the young ladies are bad tempered from a lot of sun, swimming and summer fun.
It's practically similar to an action for the children. It chills them off while not giving them a chance to get too many cerebrum solidifies. I really prefer to serve these to the young ladies with a long spoon so they need to eat them considerably more gradually, which gives me an additional 5 minutes of sweltering summer harmony. In any case, presented with a spoon or straw, the children LOVE these slushies!

Ingredients
- 6 limes, juiced
- 1/2 cup honey (or sugar)
- 1/4 cup packed fresh mint leaves
- 5-6 cups of ice
- 2 cups (1 16.9 bottle) sparkling water
Instructions
- In a blender, add in all of the ingredients and blend for 30-45 seconds or until the mint is broken down and the ice is broken into small slushy size pieces. I find that I have to either add in a couple more pieces of ice or a little more water to get the right consistency.
- Pour into glasses and serve right away.
- If your leftovers get too watery, add in some more ice and blend again before serving.
