I will concede, I didn't set out to make a mixed drink for the blog this week. I coincidentally had 2 mint plants lounging around, asking to be utilized. And keeping in mind that there are numerous plans that call for mint, I continued contemplating the up and coming Kentucky Derby. While a mint julep would be fun (and expected), I needed to accomplish something different.
This is kind of a curve on a Tom Collins, utilizing lemon rather than lime and including delicious blackberries and mint. This takes the great gin and tonic to an unheard of level. In case you're not a gin fan or uncertain, the gin cunningly covers up underneath the berry and lemon flavors, however cautious - these can be hazardous! Just positively obviously. :)
This is the ideal laid back mixed drink. Perfect for tasting while at the same time telling occasion tales around a thundering flame, or a hot radiator at any rate.
